| Jan Zeiger, Educational Consultant I obtained my undergraduate and graduate degrees in elementary education at the University of Florida. I am currently on leave from Seminole County Public Schools to be a full-time mother. I am unschooling my own children and am active in the homeschool community even though they are still very young. In addition to understanding child-led learning, I have an extensive background in more traditional teaching methods due to my experience as a classroom teacher. I live in Seminole County and am eager to assist homeschooling families in Central Florida. My teaching certificate is valid until 2009, and I plan to renew it at that time. Are you considering homeschooling? Still unsure? I can meet with you via email, phone, or live chat for consultations. I can answer your questions about the state laws, options for evaluation, umbrella schools, curriculum/philosophies, homeschool support groups in your area, and the many benefits of homeschooling. I am here to help new and experienced parents who have questions or concerns about meeting the individual needs of their children or about homeschooling in general. Please email me or use the contact form for more information about my services which include a free 15 minute phone consultation.
